Bible Study Group In 1983, a group of thirteen started the "The Journey" bible discussion programme (originally started in Canada in 1979) at Holy Rosary. At one stage, there were three active “Journey” groups in the parish: two in the evening, and one in the daytime. Each had at least eight members. Presently, a group of five meet fortnightly in the evenings. The Old Testament “Journey” course takes between two and three years to complete. The original plan of “The Journey” programme was to study and read a designated section of the bible privately, and to bring one’s reflections to the group discussion. Our present Holy Rosary group reads and discusses the
scripture at its meetings: hence, its progress through the bible is more
